Baked in a steam oven, this traditional crusty golden brown bread is the perfect accompaniment to any meal. Or enjoy it as a snack, dipped in a little olive oil or soft cheese.

Baguettes are best enjoyed within one day of purchase; or keep them fresh, wrapped tightly and stored in the freezer. Defrost at room temperature, and gently heat in the oven, straight before serving.
